The film is based on the traditional folk culture of Bengal, Lathikhela, and the difficult life and struggle of the Lathikhals involved in it. Along with this, the film depicts the changing pace of life, social tensions, and various dramatic chapters of his love life of a young man from a Lathikhal family.
