The film is set in the small town of Motihari, Bihar. The chaos begins during the pre-wedding festivities of Sanju (Lalit Prabhakar). Just as the family is celebrating his haldi ceremony, his eccentric, bachelor uncle—Ved Prakash Jaiswal, affectionately known as Chachaji (Ashutosh Rana)—drops a bombshell: he insists on getting married before his nephew.
